She ended at a nice sixth place at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 1986 and her career only rose from there. After winning several gold medals, her career couldn’t look better. But in 1990’s, scandal around attack on her main competitor Nancy Kerrigan began pointing to her inner circle andas a result Tonya was stripped of her title.
